I could have gone to the very busy popular restaurants and waited ages for food and paid more but I thought I'd try Ribeye and was pleasantly surprised. Didn't feel rushed very relaxing atmosphere. The "Old Lady of Threadneedle Street" is the nickname of the Bank Of England which stands on this Street ( from 1734, or so I've read). We were very much impressed:-) thanks!!! The food, unbelievable! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful when we weren't sure on what to order! !The restaurant is modern, with excellent staff who are knowledgeable and attentive.We arrived early and had a cocktail in the relaxing lounge bar where the knowledgeable and attentive bar staff helped us choose a cocktail and chatted about it and described and explained the detail about it.Highly recommended if you want a good steak in London. You want a good steak, then look no further and go to M.The 250g USDA fillet steak is to die for with triple cooked chips, a choice of sides and the fire cracker sauce is banging!! Must be pre-booked. I’ve never had a bad experience. Our expectations were exceeded! !Then the snickers dessert....OMG!! M Threadneedle Street is also home to striking Himalayan salt chambers for ageing meat, unrivalled event spaces, beautiful bars, wine rooms with M Victoria having its own wine shop , as well as a private members areas known as the The Den. before we were seated. Will deffo go back.

The steak was perfectly cooked as was the sides, the blue cheese sauce was specially good. Best place you could hope for went here on Saturday for my 40th the service food drink and atmosphere were fantastic, It’s was my friends birthday, the food was delicious the service was great and the drinks kept flowing. Prosecco was so nice. The street … Fantastic steak restaurant! I would strongly reccomend you.
