If you will continue strolling Herkaus Manto Street you will pass a nice and large Lietuvininkų square that was laid in the first decades of the 20th century (massive northern side buildings are authentic). Additionally, many weekends are festival weekends somewhere on the Lithuanian seaside. But the most important thing is the feeling that Klaipeda gives. If you want to sunbathe, swim or just take a walk in a forest you need to visit the suburbs of Smiltynė, Melnragė, Giruliai or Karklė. You may buy fruits and vegetables here. Klaipėda Old Town is very small and many of its streets are effectively pedestrianized.
